In 2018, we took a leap of faith and purchased a hobby farm! With Marcus nearing retirement from teaching and Beth not far behind in marketing, we were eager for a new adventure.  So, Dancing Barefoot Farms became home...

Since then, we've navigated the pandemic, honed our gardening skills, cared for bee hives, enjoyed walks and bike rides along the scenic rail trail bordering our property, and enjoy continuously improving the farmhouse and grounds.

 

In 2022, we welcomed our first Valais Blacknose Sheep and grew our flock.  In total we had: two ewes, one ram and three wethers and in the summer of 2025 welcomed two lamb ewes and one lamb ram. All were watched over our guard llama, Candy. We have enjoyed watching them grow and flourish on Dancing Barefoot Farms.
